Expected outcome of the measurements to be done
To determine the thickness and composition of CoPt alloy thin film deposited on sapphire substrate. The stoichiometry of Co and Pt needs to be confirmed using RBS. Kindly allow for the measurements.
Details of the Samples to be used
Sample Stack is Ta (2 nm)/CoPt(4-5 nm)/Sapphire substrate which has been confirmed for being self torque material and giving perpendicular magnetic anisotropy using MOKE and SQUID at IIT Delhi. The sample is useful for new generation Spin-orbit torque devices which is applied for MRAM applications.
