Phoenix allows you to develop
science experiments by connecting sensor / control elements
to a computer and access them through software. The project was started
by Inter University Accelerator
Centre,
with the objective of improving
the laboratory facilities at Indian Universities, and growing with
the support of the user community. Phoenix depends heavily on Python
language. The data acquisition, analysis and writing simulation
programs to teach science and computation.
The hardware design is freely
available. The project is based on Free Software tools and the code is
distributed under GNU GPL . If you like to be part of the development
or
want to watch for the training programs by IUAC, join the mailing list
